Kathmandu. Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) President Chandra Prasad Dhakal has urged the Spanish entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs to invest in Nepal with confidence as it has created an investment-friendly environment.
Speaking at a programme organised by the Nepali Embassy in Madrid on Wednesday, he urged Spanish entrepreneurs to invest in tourism, energy, agriculture, information technology and infrastructure sectors.
Speaking at the programme attended by members of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Industry, business community leaders, representatives of the Nepali community and diplomatic personalities, Dhakal said it would be easier to get returns if we invest in the tourism industry, which is the backbone of Nepal’s economy.
Stating that many people are attracted to religious, cultural and natural sites from the world’s highest peak Sagarmatha to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, Chairman Dhakal said that investment in quality services and infrastructure could attract tourists from many countries of the world.
