Kathmandu. CpN (UML) has demanded the resignation of State Affairs and Good Governance Committee President RamHari Khatiwada and Committee Secretary Suraj Kumar Dura.
Speaking at a meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee on Wednesday, CPN-UML lawmaker Padam Giri said that the committee president and committee secretary would continue to lead the party on moral grounds. He said that the civil servants bill was passed after months and it was an insult to the parliament that it was rigged.
He said that the committee has decided that there will be a cooling period of two years after the retirement or retirement of any civil servant, but the committee president and secretary cannot make an irresponsible argument that they have signed and submitted what other ministries have brought.
Stating that this is a heinous act in the history of Nepal, he said, “The committee unanimously passed the bill after months of serious discussion and especially in the context of cooling period, there will be a cooling period for two years after the retirement or retirement of any civil servant.” This is widespread among everyone. In the meeting, the issue passed by Ekam was presented differently in the report signed by the Honorable President and Secretary in the report of the same committee. ‘
“The entire committee was misled. This committee of this sovereign parliament has been ridiculed in this way, I think it is the most shameful, disgusting situation in the history of Nepal. It is unimaginable that people’s representatives will work to this extent. The president and the secretary have signed it. You know who said what. It is the responsibility and responsibility of the president and secretary to send the decision made by the committee as it is. It is irresponsible to correct what has come from other ministries. People here cannot lead this committee on moral grounds,” he said.
Lawmaker Giri said that action should be taken against the culprits.
