Kathmandu. The stock market has increased by a modest percentage on the second trading day of the week. On Monday, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) closed at 2,631.48 points, up 9.19 points.
On Monday, 141,72,535 shares of 318 companies were bought and sold, raising Rs 6,387,27,015.
On Monday, 145 companies’ share prices increased, while 103 companies’ share prices decreased. Sahas Urja was the most traded company on Monday. The company raised Rs 365.3 million more. The company’s share price has reached Rs 590 per share.
Also, on Monday, the share price of one company experienced a positive circuit, while the share price of another company decreased by 4.92 percent.
