Earthquake with epicenter near Kotdanda in Mugu

Kathmandu. An earthquake has struck near Kotdanda in Mugu. According to the National Seismology and Research Center, Lainchaur, a 4.3 Richter scale earthquake struck near Kotdanda in Mugu at 8:39 am this morning.

A 4.8 Richter scale earthquake struck near Jima in Mugu on the same day.

Nepal has been experiencing a series of earthquakes of the magnitude 4.0 scale in recent times. Nepal is considered an earthquake-prone region due to its location in the Himalayas.
