Kathmandu. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Deepak Khadka and Wang Hongji, Administrator of the National Energy Administration of China, have met. Minister Khadka met with Hongji, Administrator of the National Energy Administration of China, on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Member States’ Energy Ministerial Meeting held in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, China, today.
During the meeting, Minister Khadka congratulated and thanked the Chinese government for successfully organizing the Energy Ministerial Meeting, stating that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Member States’ Meeting organized by the Chinese government has also contributed to the development of Nepal’s energy sector.
The meeting was attended by Sagar Raj Gautam, Joint Secretary and Spokesperson of the Ministry, who participated in the meeting along with the Energy Minister.
The meeting was attended by China’s Hongji, administrator of the National Energy Administration, said that the Chinese government is committed to providing the necessary technical and financial assistance for the development of Nepal’s energy infrastructure.
