Humla. Private airlines operating flights from Nepalgunj to Humla Simkot have operated 14 flights today alone. 150 Indian tourists have arrived at the Simkot Airport in the Humla district headquarters, which is not connected by road, through 14 flights of Sita, Summit and Tara Air from Nepalgunj.
Indian tourists go from Simkot via Hilsa to visit Mansarovar and Kailash in China. Indian tourists choose this route as it is easier from here than going to Mansarovar and Kailash in China via Kathmandu-Kerung.
According to Simkot Airport employee Dipendra Bhandari, 12 foreign tourists came to Humla on June 24. According to him, since Ashar 20, 362 Indian pilgrims have arrived in Humla via air to go to Kailash Mansarovar. From here, the pilgrims go to Hilsa via road and air, and from there they enter China via road.
