Lamjung. The only Besisahar-Chame road connecting Manang and Lamjung has been obstructed due to landslides. According to the Dumre-Besisahar-Chame Road Planning Office, traffic on the road has been disrupted due to landslide at Marsyangdi rural municipality-4 in Lamjung this morning.
Information Officer at the Office, Nabin Bista, said that the road has been obstructed due to landslides with big stones. He said it would take time to open the landslide as it was huge. The road was blocked by a landslide near the site on June 14.
Similarly, vehicular movement has been disrupted due to the breakdown of two trucks on the road near Myardi Bhir near the Lamjung-Manang border. Efforts are being made to operate traffic on the road. Due to the blockade of the road, passengers who have to reach the destination on time have faced more problems.
