Kathmandu. Acting Chairman of Unified Socialist Party Rajendra Pandey has said that it would be better if the secretaries of the Government of Nepal resign. Taking special time in the House of Representatives, the secretaries protested against the government’s move to stop the Bill 2082.
“The secretaries have said that they will resign over the cooling period, in fact it is a good proposal from the secretaries. This gives an opportunity to new joint secretaries. ”
In the bill, the cooling period of employees has been kept at two years. After this arrangement, 25 secretaries, including Chief Secretary Narayan Aryal, have threatened to resign.
