Kathmandu. Tarakeshwar Municipality-3, located near the Kathmandu Valley, has been established as an adventure tourist destination for yoga destination. With the establishment of ‘Forest Adventure’ here, it is being developed as an adventure tourism destination.
The arrival of those interested in adventure tourism is increasing. Domestic tourists have started arriving from different places outside the Valley for zipline, rock climbing and bungee jump here. At the same time, those living in Kathmandu have ended the compulsion to go far and wide for adventure tourism.
Kathmandu: The ‘Forest Adventure’ at Panchmane on the Kakani Highway has been built within 10 kilometers of the Kathmandu Ring Road Bypass, an adventure destination for the people living within the Ring Road of Kathmandu. After reaching here, they will be able to enjoy the joy of nature and clean air in the green environment.
Alyssa Dhakal, owner of IA’s Banjangal Adventure, said that they have been providing services to domestic and foreign tourists who have been staying in Kathmandu for eight months and are interested in adventure tourism. He opined that adventure has been launched to increase the interest of the people living in Kathmandu towards nature and adventure tourism.
Stating that the number of adventure tourism packages is increasing today, he said adventurer is operating this business targeting tourists within Kathmandu.
Dhakal said that the number of service seekers is increasing as the people of Kathmandu can save time and feel the difference of all adventures in the forest. According to him, service seekers will be able to experience zipline, roller coaster, climbing wall, obstacle course, hyperop course, kids adventure course zipline triptop adventure and giant swing in the forest spread over 30 ropanis.
Dhakal said that for the first time in Nepal, the roller coaster will be experienced for adventure tourism. The wheel is tied to the iron and left. Tourists will be able to enjoy themselves by walking on iron poles for up to a minute.
Tourists can feel different by staying in tents and original Nepali houses. Adventure has 11 tents and an original house. Preserving the originality, forest adventure can be seen in the original house, jaggery, plough and materials used by the farmers. On Friday and Saturday, there is a crowd of domestic tourists. Dhakal said that The Indian Axo Consultancy has built the infrastructure in a year and all the infrastructure has been fully engineered.
“The specialty of Forest Adventure is adventure tourism. We have taken permission from the Department of Tourism to play most of the games here,” he said. Dhakal informed that tourism infrastructure has been constructed on his own land at a total cost of Rs 60 million in the middle of the forest. RSS
