Kathmandu. Lawmaker Padam Giri has said that the budget allocated by the government for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83 BS is focused on the goal of bringing the country’s economy back on track. Taking part in a discussion on the annual estimates of revenue and expenditure for the fiscal year 2082/83 BS in today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, he said the budget was aimed at bringing back the country’s broken economy back on track and fulfilling the aspiration of happy Nepali prosperous Nepal.
Lawmaker Giri said that the budget brought by the government is eligible to be implemented and will help in achieving the economic goals. “The budget has estimated revenue collection of Rs 1,315 billion and the target of 31 per cent growth in the current fiscal year was set and the target of 31 per cent growth was not achieved in the past,” he said. ’
Lawmaker Giri opined that the budget has come without increasing the ceiling limit of the budget given by the National Planning Commission on the ground of reality and it is a good thing to reduce the development plans. “In the budget, there has been talk of providing subsidy on agriculture sector market, insurance facilities, fertilizers, seeds and tools. It is positive that the country will move ahead on the path of attracting private sector for investment and becoming self-reliant in agriculture,” he said. It’s positive. ’
Lawmaker Giri said that the government’s policy of preventing the young generation from migrating abroad by providing employment in Nepal itself is also praiseworthy. “The budget allocated for the next fiscal year is trying to attract the youth who want to have a future in this country,” he said. Now the youth will get employment in the country. However, the policy should be implemented effectively. Lawmaker Giri suggested that the government should pay attention to the reduction of public expenditure and manage the loss-making public institutions.
