Kathmandu. CpN (Maoist Centre) senior vice-chairman Narayan Kaji Shrestha has called upon the cpn (Maoist Centre) to support the formation of a majority government once again if the country is formed. He made the call while addressing a program organized at the party’s central office, Paris Hill on Monday.
He stressed the need for the support of the general public to strengthen the Maoist Centre. He also stressed the need of extending support to join the people’s struggle to reach the place of leading the people’s struggle if needed. People’s participation in the party’s programmes has been significant in recent times, he said.
He also claimed that the wave of party entry has increased. He accused the Maoist Centre-led government of toppling to protect the corrupt and to further advance the process of corruption. He claimed that the present government is a corrupt and autocratic government.
“We have appealed to the people that if we want to build this country, you should once again support the CPN (Maoist Centre) to form a majority government,” he said. You should also help in strengthening this party. And, if necessary, help should also be provided to join the people’s struggle to reach the place of leading the people’s struggle. People’s participation in our programmes has been good. The wave of party entry has increased. ’
Shrestha said efforts were being made to stop the remaining works of the peace process. He said pressure should be exerted to complete the remaining tasks of the peace process related to transitional justice as soon as possible.
