Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party lawmaker Manish Jha has accused the Ministry of Home Affairs of leading the human trafficking under the guise of visit visa through the Department of Immigration. Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives on Friday, Lawmaker Jha made the allegation.
He alleged that the Ministry of Home Affairs had ignored the commission for the investigation of abuse of authority (CIAA) repeatedly. He also accused the Ministry of Home Affairs of transferring the employees under investigation to the district to hide their involvement and demanded the formation of an investigation committee, claiming that the irregularities in immigration were not only at the national level but also at the international level.
Stating that there was enough evidence in the news about the visit visa case in the media, he alleged that the home leadership was being looted.
“Where was the Ministry of Home Affairs until the CIAA wrote 9-9 letters to the Ministry of Home Affairs asking it to pay attention to the malpractices in immigration,” he said. When it was time for the AUTHORITY to raid there, why was everyone dragged overnight to hide their employees? If he was not involved, he was not aware, then why was the employee dragged to give protection? Secondly, after pulling the employees, they could be kept in the ministry. It is also proved that they are trying to influence the investigation by transferring it to Rolpa and Dolpa. So there is enough news coming in the press. There is enough evidence every day. All this is a loot under your leadership. It’s not just our voice. The setting has already become international. Therefore, our movement continues until the investigation committee and those who have been cheated get justice to investigate it. ’
Jha also said that their agitation would continue until a parliamentary inquiry committee is formed to investigate the visit visa case.
