Kathmandu. Kathmandu: The hearing of a case related to the incident that took place during the royalist movement at Tinkune in Kathmandu concluded on Thursday evening at the Kathmandu District Court.

However, the court’s order has not come even after about six hours of the arguments. According to court sources, Judge Dhruba Raj Karki is busy writing the order, and the order is likely to come today itself.

The hearing began at the District Court, Kathmandu on May 20 and was going on continuously in the bench of Justice Dhruba Raj Karki. Security has been tightened around the courtroom and a large number of police personnel have been deployed.

The District Government Attorney’s Office, Kathmandu, had filed a case against 61 people on May 11. Of these, 39 are currently in custody. 11 people were charged with criminal mischief only, and they have been released on bail. They have been sent to Bhaktapur as they are four minors.

A case of murder has also been filed against eight people, including businessman Durga Prasain, as the main defendants. Prasain is seen as the chief commander of the movement.

The case reached the court after the District Police Range, Kathmandu completed the investigation and submitted a report to the Government Attorney’s Office. Even after 18 days of the filing of the case, the defendants are waiting outside the bench due to the delay in getting the order. Court sources said the order would come soon.
