Rural drinking water project completed in Myagdi at a cost of Rs 4 million

Myagdi. Malika Rural Municipality-3, Luksipar has completed the construction of drinking water project at a cost of Rs 3.923 million under the ‘One House, One Dhara’ programme. Around 400 people have benefited from the project. According to Newa technician Rupak Thapa, the project was completed with rs 1,774,729 from Water for Health (Newa), Rs 995,509 from Malika Rural Municipality and Rs 1,153,250 from consumers.

Three drinking water projects have been constructed at Patle, Luksipar and Dandagaun of Malika Rural Municipality-3 in the current fiscal year 2081/82 BS in partnership with Malika Rural Municipality and Newa. Ward chair Moti Prasad Budha said 400 families have benefited from these schemes.

Drinking water facilities have been extended to Dandagaun, Kiteni, Aul, Saragdi, Syaglung, Patle and Luksipar tols, he said.
