Kathmandu. On the second trading day of the week, the stock market rose by double digits. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index rose 23.19 points to 2,653.09.

Nine hundred forty-seven thousand 802 units of shares of 324 companies were traded on Monday.

Shares of 94 companies including Geography Energy 7.47 percent, Mithila Laghubitta 5.23 percent, Saptakoshi Development Bank 5.11 percent and Manushi Laghubitta 3.05 percent today.
