Kathmandu. Citizens Bank has organized a massive tree plantation programme in Dhanusha of Madhes Province as part of its corporate social responsibility.
With the theme of ‘Bit the Plastic’, the bank has organized the tree plantation program with the objective of preserving and promoting trees and plants that are indispensable to mitigate the growing climate change.
On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, a massive tree plantation program has been organized by planting more than 100 different species of saplings in Mani Mandap, Ward No. 13, Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City, Madhes Province.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, the bank has already conducted health camps, community schools and monasteries in different parts of the country.
