Kathmandu. A new leadership has been elected in the Madhes Province Contact Committee of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Party. The meeting of the contact committee held on Saturday unanimously elected the new leadership under the chairmanship of Satrudhan Prasad Chaudhary. Rameshwor Prasad Singh has been elected as vice-president, Sachit Kumar Kuinkel as secretary, Prabhu Prasad Sah Teli, Babita Yadav and Santosh Thapa as under-secretaries.
Kameshwar Yadav, Chandeshwar Das, Chakra Laxmi Shrestha, Dinesh Khadka, Raj Kumar Yadav, Jeevan Kumar Syangtan, Surendra Singh, Hari Shankar Thakur, Panchlal Kushwaha, RamAshish Yadav, Ananta Timilsina, Sudhashu Mishra, Bhujendra Yadav, Tara Pokharel, Pramod Rai, Himanshu Kumar Mishra, Ekramul Haque, Kaushal Bhakta Mathema and Rabina Kumari Chaudhary are the members of the working committee.
Earlier, bednath Koirala was the chairman of the committee. Party President and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal was the chief guest at the convention.
