Yarsagumba found at Rimigha Lake in Palpa, rural municipality denies entry

Tansen. Yarsagumba has been found in Foxingkot of Rambha Rural Municipality-2 and Rimigha Lake of Ward No. 3. Narayan Dev Bhattarai, chief of the Division Forest Office, Palpa, said yarsa was a valuable herb during the test conducted at the National Forensic Science Laboratory, Khumaltar, Lalitpur.

A yarsagumba-like object was found in Rimigha Lake last week. A laboratory was sent to the laboratory to confirm the discovery of a yarsagumba-like object while digging a pit to plant orange saplings after cleaning the bushes in the area.

The rural municipality has banned entry into the area. The municipality has issued a notice prohibiting entry into the area. A meeting of the District Security Committee held after receiving the laboratory report decided to ban the entry of the general public in the area where Yarsa was found for a few more days, rural municipality chair Bishnu Prasad Bhandari said. Chief District Officer ToyNarayan Subedi said, “It has been proved that yarsa is present in Rimigha Lake, but it is not clear what species it belongs to and how much its medicinal value is.” ”

The residents of the district are excited after it was proved that yarsa was found in this area located at an altitude of 1,800 meters. Yarsagumba is one of the most valuable medicinal herbs in the mountainous and high mountainous regions of the world.

Yarsagumba ranks second only to China in terms of global supply. Yarsagumba has medicinal properties, so it can be used to make medicines for powerful, cancer, anemia, tuberculosis, lung infection, kidney, liver and heart diseases. Yarsagumba is found at an altitude of 3,500 meters to 5,500 meters above sea level. According to Ayurveda doctors, it is a combined form of a type of mushroom and larval stage butterflies.
