Unnati Cultural Village launches summer package, special discount to visitors under ‘decoction’ and ‘stay’ package

Kathmandu. Nawalparasi- Unnati Cultural Village in Nawalparasi has unveiled a special ‘vacation’ and ‘staycation’ summer vacation package till June 30, 2025. These packages have been launched with the objective of promoting Nepal’s original Tharu culture, traditional lifestyle and sustainable tourism.

In this eco-cultural retreat located near Shashwatdham, guests will be able to experience the art, food, handicrafts and agricultural lifestyle of the Tharu community first-hand. Unnati has brought these packages targeting families, students, couples and other passengers.

In the decession package, a visit to the museum in Tharu village, a workshop on making clay pots, a visit to the Unnati complex and delicious food will be provided. The package will be available for Rs 1,400 for general visitors and Rs 1,200 for students only.

Under the stayment package, arrangements have been made to use the facilities of overnight accommodation, original food, cultural experience, tree planting, child-friendly activities and Miraya Wellness and Golf Resort in the traditional style.

For one person, the room fee has been fixed at Rs 5,500 per night and for up to two people it has been fixed at Rs 9,000. Similarly, a two-room art residency with a seating capacity of up to four people is priced at Rs 16,000 per night.

Unnati Cultural Village in Nawalparasi is a cultural retreat centre, providing experiences based on Tharu culture and sustainable lifestyle. Adorned with 12 eco-friendly huts, the village combines Tharu art, handicrafts, original cuisine, and community interactions.

Visitors can get into the lifestyle of the village directly through traditional music, folk dances, art and handicrafts. The peaceful environment in which meditation, nature and self-reflection can be done while being close to nature has made progress unique in terms of culture, consciousness and transformation.
