Kathmandu. Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that the opponents were trying to provoke the alliance between the UML and the Nepali Congress. He said this while addressing the 24th national general convention of the All Nepal National Independent Students’ Union (ANNFSU) in Kathmandu on Sunday.
Stating that the UML is now leading the government and could not remain in the leadership at any time, he claimed that the leadership would be handed over to the Nepali Congress again after 13 months. He claimed that the uml’s objective was mission 084 and it was not a matter of confusion and abstraction.
“Mission 084 is a mission to establish a national power like CPN-UML as a decisive national force,” he said. He said that the reactionary forces have called the Nepali Congress, which is collaborating with various types of frauds, as ‘Mission 084’, ‘I will finish the Congress’, ‘I will get the majority’.
He said that the Congress is also claiming to get a majority and who will bring it is in its place.
“Today we are leading the government and we will not be in the leadership at any time. Now after 13 months, we will again hand over the leadership to the Nepali Congress. We have made an agreement. Our Objective Mission 084 This is not an abstract matter of confusion. Mission 084 is to establish a national power like THE CPN-UML, this patriotic force as the decisive national power. It is a national power. But it should be developed as a decisive national force in Mission 084. We have moved forward with that objective. ‘
“Our opponents are trying to play by saying that the reactionary forces have called the Nepali Congress ‘Mission 084’, which is collaborating with the reactionary forces through various types of frauds, saying that they will finish the Congress, they will get a majority. The Nepali Congress also says that it will get a majority even if it cooperates with us. We also say we will get a majority. Who will bring it to its place? But many claim to get a majority. So much so that prachanda is dreaming that the wave has come like that of 064 years old. We are a really strong national force, a popular party,” he said.
Prime Minister Oli said that CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has also said that the wave has come like in 2064 BS and was dreaming of getting a majority.
