Far West. The Sudurpaschim state government has decided to provide Rs 4 million to the fire victims of Bajura. The decision was taken at a meeting of the State Disaster Risk Reduction and Control Council chaired by Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah today.
Chief Minister Shah said that the assistance amount would be provided to Budhiganga Municipality and the government would take a decision on additional assistance after receiving full details of the damage caused by the fire. The meeting also decided to provide 15 tents, 34 blankets and 34 tarpaulin sheets to the fire victims.
Bajura: At least 31 houses and property worth Rs 150 million were damaged in a fire that broke out at Navadurga Hotel in Bamka Bazaar of Budhiganga municipality-6 in Bajura on Friday afternoon.
