kathmandu . The Nepal Impact Investment Forum (NIIF) 2025 is scheduled begin tomorrow in Kathmandu with the objective of Scaling Foreign Investments In Nepal.
This is the third iteration which is rebranded this year as the “Nepal Impact Investment Forum 2025”. The first investment forum had delegates for 8 development finance institutions. The second investment forum had 14 participating institutions from DFIs and Impact Investors.
This year to the forum has delegates from 14 DFIs and impact investors. The investment forum plays a vital role in bringing together global Development Finance
Institutions (DFIs), impact investors to Nepal. It provides the delegates first hand opportunity to assess for themselves the evolving foreign investment landscape, interact with government and regulators and strike relationships with potential investees.
This year the forum has also included the alternative investment industry. The event is organised organized by Invest for Impact Nepal (IIN) in partnership with the Nepal Bankers’ Association (NBA) and the Nepal Private Equity Association (NPEA).
Three Days of Impact-Focused Dialogue
The forum, taking place from 3 to 5 June 2025, will feature:
• Day 1: High-level technical sessions on scaling foreign investment, supporting climate
transition plans for financial institutions, and growing the private equity and venture
capital (PEVC) industry.
• Day 2: Strategic discussions with government and development partners for long-term
collaboration and investment facilitation.
• Day 3 – Is reserved for field visits for the delegates.
The Nepal Impact Investment Forum 2025 serves as a facilitative platform for both the investors and investees to help catalyse foreign capital flow into Nepal. It offers a strategic opportunity to build enduring partnerships, align investor interests with national priorities and pave the way for long term investments.
It focuses on collaboration, innovation and aims to deepen Nepal’s integration into the global investment ecosystem.
