Kathmandu. Governor Dr Bishwanath Poudel has expressed apprehension that some people have taken loans in their hands.

Speaking at a discussion held at the Finance Committee on The Bank and Financial Institutions Bill bafia on Monday, he said it was necessary for the lawmakers to consider it while making a law related to BAFIA.

According to him, a recent study shows that 0.01 percent of the 1.94 million borrowers used 3.9 percent of the loan. The lawmakers said that there is a doubt that the loan is being concentrated to a certain extent in view of the process of loan disbursement.

According to Poudel, will the operator be able to take the loan or not? How much can you take? What is operator? Is there a need to differentiate between people running a bank and a businessman? If you are in another country, don’t you belong to Nepal? The parliament itself has to take necessary decisions while making the BAFIA Bill regarding the situation arising out of the conflict of interest, from the flow of loans to the situation in the country. He said that some of the challenges that have arisen now should be addressed legally.

“Maybe some people have a concussion that the debt has gone into their hands,” he said. It is good to go a long way to take it, no, whether it has benefited productivity or not, how it restricts the principle of state governance. It is the right of lawmakers. ”

According to Governor Poudel, the issue of credit flow and rights of borrowers is the biggest issue. It should be clearly defined in Wafia.
