Cabinet meeting to approve budget

Kathmandu. A meeting of the Council of Ministers is taking place at noon to approve the revenue and expenditure estimates (budget) for the fiscal year 2082/83 BS to be presented in the joint sitting of both houses of the federal parliament this afternoon.

The meeting will be held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. A meeting of the National Planning Commission (NPC) chaired by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will be held this afternoon, according to the Prime Minister’s Private Secretariat.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel is scheduled to present the budget in the federal parliament at 3:00 pm.
