Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli should not make provocative statements to the citizens. Talking to media persons after the party’s office-bearers’ meeting on Monday, he drew the attention of the Prime Minister not to make such provocative statements in the coming days.
Addressing a training programme of ward chairs organised by cpn (UML)’s Bagmati province committee at Godavari on Saturday, PM Oli directed to keep the capital Kathmandu under uml’s control.
Nc General Secretary Thapa objected to this. Stating that no one would be allowed to provoke anyone, he said it was unimaginable for the Prime Minister to make a statement that he himself would be provocative.
“If we cannot provoke anyone, it is unimaginable that the honourable Prime Minister will say so,” he said. That’s why things like this were heard outside. Such things should not be repeated when they come out. ’
General Secretary Thapa cautioned against saying such things in the coming days.
