Kathmandu. Kathmandu: The Nepali Congress (NC) has denied the involvement of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak in the visit visa case. A meeting of nc office-bearers and former office-bearers held at party president Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha today concluded that home minister Lekhak was not at fault in the case.
Nc spokesperson Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat said home minister Lekhak briefed the meeting in detail about the visit visa issue and said that there was no shortcoming or mistake in it.
Spokesperson Dr Mahat shared after the meeting that the meeting believed home minister Lekhak’s point of view and concluded that he was not involved in the case. The meeting also demanded an impartial investigation and action against those involved in the visit visa case.
