Kathmandu. Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, has said that there was a lack of coordination and cooperation with sustainable and clear thinking necessary for the development and prosperity of the country.
Inaugurating a photo exhibition organized by the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) on the occasion of Republic Day titled ‘Mountain Tourism: Our Pride, Our Identity’ at the central office in Bhadrakali today, Minister Gurung stressed the need for cooperation and cooperation to carry out works that the people feel.
Expressing the view that development, prosperity and good governance would not be possible due to the current cumbersome rules, laws and procedures, Minister Gurung, who is also the spokesperson of the Government of Nepal, said that the government was active in order to provide effective services in a coordinated manner by amending the old rules and regulations.
Stating that the information technology sector, which is directly involved in the development, expansion and promotion of most sectors including agriculture and tourism, should get high priority, he stressed the need for the attention of the National Planning Commission and the Ministry of Finance to arrange the necessary budget. “Tourism is an important area of our country’s prosperity, but national plans have not been formulated accordingly,” he said. ’
According to Minister Gurung, the tourism sector is the mainstay of the country’s prosperity and it is necessary to pay attention to information technology related sectors like telephone, internet and AI with necessary budget to facilitate tourists. Minister Gurung, who is also a former Tourism Minister, stressed the need for cooperation and cooperation between the two ministries for the development, expansion and promotion of the tourism sector by utilizing modern information technology in a coordinated manner.
Stating that lumbini is the main tourist attraction in Nepal, Minister Gurung said that the government should give priority to the conservation and promotion of these two heritages. At the same time, he said that the culture of speaking less and doing more work should be started as only talk and speech do not bring prosperity. “We have to start a culture of speaking less and doing more work,” he said.
Tourism is an area where a lot of achievements can be achieved with little investment. Stating that tourism is an important area for the country’s prosperity, Minister Gurung urged the people to work honestly for its promotion. He expressed the belief that the photo exhibition organized by the Rastriya Samachar Samiti with the objective of promoting tourism would help in the promotion of tourism.
