Kathmandu. A new book written by progressive litterateur Kalpana Rijal has been released.
Minister for Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Panta unveiled the book amidst a function in Kathmandu today. Addressing the programme, Minister Panta said that there should be good readers to write well.
Stating that all the subjects read and written cannot be true, he opined that every work has different characteristics. Veteran litterateur Bhagirathi Shrestha commented that the style and language of danfe novel was excellent.
Stating that litterateur Kalpana Rijal is a simple nature, good leader and fearless personality, Shrestha said that while studying the novel Danfe, she met writer Rijal as a litterateur who could run the lotus independently.
Assistant Professor Gyannishta Gyawali said that danfe novel is excellent as it contains various aspects including eastern philosophy, disinterest, peace, nature and nationality. Rijal also said that the first option would be for those in the leadership to sit in dialogue for the benefit of the country as any dispute can be resolved through ideas.
Author of the book Kalpana Rijal said that danfe novel is full of different colors and decorations like Nepal’s national charo danfe. She said that the book covers various aspects including the positive and negative aspects seen in the traditional Nepali society to the modern society, nation, nationality, eastern philosophy.
Around 100 litterateurs, politicians, poets, writers, teachers, artists and others participated in the event.
