Kathmandu. Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said it was necessary to create an environment for utilizing skills and investing in the country. He said this while addressing a program organized at the party’s central office sanepa.
Stating that an environment should be created for the youth to stay at home by creating employment, he said it was necessary to give priority to employment in the national policy.
He said the Nepali Congress was also determined to bring the Education Act and The Nizamati Act. He said that social security allowance should be provided to those who could not conform to the socialist concept and it should be made easier for the workers of the unorganized sector to get social security based on contribution.
For this, it is necessary to amend the law and implement it in a practical way, he said.
Deuba said, “The Nepali Congress is also determined to bring the Education Act and The Nizamati Act. In the distribution of social security allowance, it seems that the social security allowance should be made available to those who do not conform to the socialist concept, while the law has to be amended and implemented practically so that it is easier for the workers of the unorganized sector to get social security based on contribution. The party will take initiative to make arrangements at the local level for registration of labour identity for workers in the informal sector. It has become necessary to create an environment for young people to stay at home and to invest in their own country by creating employment. It is necessary to give priority to employment in the national policy. ’
President Deuba said that there were complaints of some problems in the implementation of labour sector laws and pledged to take initiative in the implementation of the Labour Act.
