4 industries added to Hetauda Industrial Area

Bagmati. Hetauda Industrial Area is witnessing an increase in the expansion of industries. Recently, four new industries have been added.

According to Ramesh Raj Nepal, information officer at the Industrial Area Management Office, Lucky Poly Industries has started producing plastic bags with plastic goods and total packaging since Last April. Three Star Group has started making colorful and plain concrete sheets and Baba Manufacturing has started making tin boxes since Last January.

At present, 10 industrial structures are under construction in the industrial area. The construction of most of them has reached the final stage. Information Officer Nepal said that the Supreme Metal Industry has also started producing iron cutting among the six industries that have been closed for a long time. He said that coordination is being made with the operators for the operation of five other industries which are closed due to various reasons. According to him, preparations are underway to reopen Dynasty Distillery, Green Gold International Pvt Ltd, South Asian Polypipe Pvt Ltd and Baniya Multi Product Pvt Ltd.

A total of 146 industries and establishments are currently operating in the industrial area established with the support of the US government on December 1, 2020.

Spread over an area of 3,228 ropanis, the industrial area comprises food industry, United Brewery, Gorkha Brewery Company, Asian Paints, Animal Feed Feed Industry and Cartoon Industry.

Hetauda Milk Distribution Project, State Food and Quality Control Office, State Seed Company, State Soil Testing Office, Area Police Office and Nepal Bank Limited are operating in the industrial area.

Out of the total land area, 2,178 ropanis have been leased out, 26.52 ropanis of vacant land and 597 ropanis of land is occupied by utility services. There are 10 industrial buildings, 11 warehouses and 34 other buildings constructed by the office in the industrial area. The Industrial Area Management Office has also been collecting restoration from the buildings, warehouses, quarters and land of the industries and establishments within the industrial area.
