Tanahun. Kathmandu: Nepali Congress spokesperson Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has said that the method of unnecessary budget allocation should be removed to end the irregularities.
Addressing an inter-dialogue programme on contemporary issues organized by the Nepali Congress Tanahun at THE VP Memorial Building, Damauli today, he said that the irregularities could be ended if it could be done.
Spokesperson Dr Mahat said, “Now the leadership at every level should fulfill the responsibility. There should be a sense of duty by accepting that it should be improved. There is a need to improve leadership from the top level to the lower level. ’
He believes that it would be easier to improve only if the central government could not approve the schemes with less than Rs 30 million budget and the state government could not work on less than Rs 10 million. “Distrust and anger towards the leadership should be reduced and the leadership should also have a sense of duty,” he said. ’
He stressed the need for all three levels of leadership to remove the frustration caused by the spread of misinformation on social media every time for popularity.
“The leadership of all parties should not go after popularity. The leadership should be conscious of working with a sense of duty in order to strengthen the future. ’
