Kathmandu. Citizens Bank International Limited has provided financial assistance for the construction of the crematorium. The bank has set up kohalpur municipality ward no. 1of Lumbini Province, Banke district. 11 have been provided necessary assistance for the construction of crematoria.
Kohalpur Municipality Ward No. The crematorium, being constructed at the confluence of Duduwa and Rohini rivers at Ward No. 11, aims to provide an accessible and environment-friendly alternative to the local residents as compared to the traditional cremation. Chief Executive Officer of the bank Ganesh Raj Pokharel handed over the assistance amidst a function organized at the organization. Addressing the function, CHIEF Executive Officer Pokharel said that he felt very happy to be able to support social work.
The bank, which has been conducting various programs to bring positive changes in social, economic, cultural, educational, etc. under the Corporate Social Responsibility Program, plans to conduct such programs in the coming days as well.
