Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) newly appointed Governor Dr Bishwa Poudel has called on Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel. Newly appointed Governor Poudel met Finance Minister Poudel at the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday morning.
On the occasion, Finance Minister Poudel extended hearty congratulations and wished him a successful tenure.
Stating that the government would move ahead in coordination between the finance policy and the monetary policy, Minister Poudel expressed the belief that the newly appointed governor would take important initiatives to solve the problems in the economy and the monetary sector.
Newly appointed Governor Poudel said that the Ministry of Finance would lead the country’s economy and Nepal Rastra Bank would help in the implementation of the finance policy through monetary policy.
On the occasion, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari, Finance Secretary Ghanshyam Upadhyay, Revenue Secretary Dinesh Kumar Ghimire and newly appointed Governor Poudel were congratulated.
