Madhes chief minister refuses to repay Rs 420 million loan, bank issues 35-day notice

Kathmandu. Kumari Bank has issued a 35-day notice after Chief Minister of Madhes Province Satish Kumar Singh failed to repay the bank’s loan. Chief Minister Singh has issued a 35-day notice asking him to repay the loan after he failed to pay the principal and interest of the loan of Rs 420 million taken from Kumari Bank by mortgaging his land.

The bank will be blacklisted if Chief Minister Singh fails to pay interest and interest on the loan within the next 35 days.
