House of Representatives meeting: Demand to solve problems in power supply

Kathmandu. In today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, lawmakers drew the government’s attention to the reasons for the power outage from time to time. They demanded the government to solve the problem of power supply immediately and provide regular supply.

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSSP) lawmaker Shiva Nepali said, “At present, it is getting dark in the houses and the lights are flashing, i urge you to solve the problem as soon as possible by informing about the reasons.” ‘

Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) lawmaker Surya Man Tamang (Dong) drew the government’s attention to the negligence of the Electricity Authority of Nepal (NEA) leading to the deaths of workers working in the power sector.

“Load shedding ended yesterday. Lately, the lights go away like load shedding. Is the Nepali people living in darkness now?” he asked. He drew the attention of the Ministry of Energy and the Electricity Authority for regular power supply.

Nepal Communist Party (UML) lawmaker Saraj Ahmed Farooqui drew the attention of the government to bring a plan to reduce road accidents. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) lawmaker Gyanendra Shahi drew the government’s attention to the death of Umesh Pariyar in Kavrepalanchowk.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party lawmaker Abdul Khan demanded an inquiry into the incident in which Taslim Ansari of Parsa-5 in Sarlahi was beaten up and locked in a pig’s den by some people on Saturday. He drew the attention of the government to protect the religious, cultural and identity of the Muslim community.

CpN (Maoist Centre) lawmaker Ranendra Barali drew the attention of the government to provide appropriate relief and compensation to the family of 28-year-old Umesh Pariyar, who was electrocuted during electricity repair a few days ago.
