Kathmandu. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has said that it has completed its investigation into the Tinkune incident.

Receiving a calling attention letter from the family of late Suresh Rajak, who died in the Tinkune incident, Commission’s investigation officer Manju Khatiwada said that the investigation has been completed at a fast pace as the incident is a serious matter. She said that the commission is preparing to make public the findings of the investigation within a few days.

She said that the findings of the investigation and the responsibility to be fulfilled by the state will also suggest what should be done to the families of the deceased and the injured.

Sujan, wife of journalist Rajak, who died during the protest, has urged the Commission for a fair investigation, suspecting that the incident was planned, conspiratorial or any other criminal act.
