Kathmandu. Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Limited has convened its 8th Annual General Meeting (AGM). As per the decision of the Board of Directors of the company held on May 15, the 8th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company has been convened from 11:00 am in Kathmandu.
The meeting will pass a proposal to distribute 8 percent bonus shares and 0.421 percent cash dividend (including tax) of the existing paid-up capital from the accumulated profit of the last fiscal year.
The seventh annual general meeting of the company has decided to issue 7 percent right shares, but after the distribution of bonus shares, the paid-up capital fixed by the regulatory body will reach.
In addition, it will determine his remuneration by passing the financial statements including the annual report of the last fiscal year and appointing an auditor for the current fiscal year.
A proposal has also been set for the meeting to authorize the board of directors to make necessary amendments in the company’s management letter and regulations and to approve the expenditure incurred on social responsibility.
In addition, the company has decided to close the book on May 15 for the purpose of the meeting. Based on the book close, only the shareholders who have been retained till May 15 will participate in the meeting and receive dividends.
