Kathmandu. Citizens Bank International Limited has provided fans to Shree Sankat Mochan Devsaran Ramrati Secondary School located at Janakpurdham Rural Municipality-4 in Dhanusha district of Madhes State under the Institutional Social Responsibility Program.
Around 1,000 children have been studying in the school and the bank has provided this assistance to facilitate the students studying in the school. Chief Executive Officer of the bank Ganesh Raj Pokharel handed over the fans as a part of a function held at the school.
Addressing the function, CHIEF Executive Officer Pokharel expressed the belief that this small support of the bank would benefit the students. He also said that he was happy to be able to provide support to the students studying in the school.
In the coming days, the bank plans to run various programs to bring positive changes in social, economic, cultural, educational etc. sectors under the Institutional Social Responsibility Program.
Recently, the bank, which has been awarded the title of ‘Bank of the Year 2024’, the world’s most prestigious award, has recently launched ‘Citizens PhonePe Credit Card’ (Virtual Credit Card) for the first time in Nepal in collaboration with PhonePe.
