Mustang. A motorable bridge is being constructed at Thini Khola on ring road connecting five villages of Thak of Gharpajhong rural municipality in the district. The Infrastructure Development Office under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Management of Gandaki State has started the construction work by awarding a multi-year contract worth Rs 44.6 million.
Information Officer at the Office, Ghanashyam Magar, said that the construction should be completed by the end of July 2083. The bridge will be 35 meters long and 8.4 meters wide with 2.4 meters of walkway on both sides. So far, physical progress has been 45 percent and financial progress has been 37 percent.
Meanwhile, the state government is upgrading a 10.5-km road connecting Jomsom, Thini, Dhumba, Syang, Chhairo-Chimang and Marfa under Thak Panch village of Gharpajhong rural municipality.
