Panta arrested for killing woman

Kathmandu. Ram Chandra Panta, 40, of Galchi rural municipality of Dhading has been arrested for killing Bimala Tamang, 28, of Suryagadhi municipality-1 in Nuwakot.

Panta, who was on the run after killing Tamang, who was found dead at a guest house in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-28 on April 28, was arrested from Nagdhunga in Kathmandu while returning to Kathmandu from India, according to the District Police Range, Kathmandu.

Panta, who was arrested on Tuesday, has been made public by the police today. Police are investigating him further.
