Child dies in car crash

Sindhuli. A child has died after being hit by a car in Khorbhanjyang, Dudhauli Municipality-8.

10-year-old Mandesh Sada of Chihandanda, Dudhauli-7 died when a car (number BAB 0188) coming from Katari, Udaypur towards Dakaha hit him today, Deputy Superintendent of Police Suryak Subedi informed.

Sada, who was injured in the car accident, died at Dudhauli Municipal Hospital, Sirtholi. Police have taken the driver of the car, 34-year-old Ram Kumar Rai, into custody and are investigating the incident.
