Kathmandu. Aam Janata Party MP Prabhu Shah has commented that the government’s policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year support corruption and looting. MP Shah made this comment while participating in the discussion on the government’s policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year in the Sunday meeting of the House of Representatives.

MP Shah commented that looking at the policies and programs, he felt like feeding sweets to diabetic patients. He also accused that the money earned by Nepali citizens abroad is being used for the benefit of corrupt people. He also alleged that the policies and programs that should be introduced to return the wealth earned through corruption abroad are the exact opposite.

He said, ‘In a word, about the current policies and programs, I feel like feeding sweets to diabetic patients. This has become the current trend of those in high positions of the state openly looting and hoarding money from corruption abroad. Policies and programs should have come with a commitment to stop and bring back the looted and corrupt money. But unfortunately, the opposite happened. It seems that the policies and programs are openly saying, “Take it with ease.” Is the money earned by Nepali citizens abroad for the family or for the corrupt? Doesn’t the government know that it decreases when sending money legally and increases when exchanging it with black money and returns to the village?”

He protested that policies and programs have been brought in such a way that the wealth earned by the youth in foreign employment is also put to good use.
