Kathmandu. The scandal of the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) demanding commission is constantly being discussed in the Parliament. Nepali Congress MP Ramhari Khatiwada has demanded an answer from the government regarding the commission scandal of the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON). Speaking during the Zero Hour of the Parliament on Thursday, MP Khatiwada, who is also a central member of the Nepali Congress, has demanded an answer from the government regarding the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) demanding commission from energy producers. MP Khatiwada has also raised the issue of the CIAA chief’s opinion that the government does not want the money that Nepalis have taken abroad through corruption to return to Nepal. He also stressed that the government should help the CIAA to bring back the money that Nepalis have stored abroad to Nepal. He also drew the government’s attention to appointing the governor of Nepal Rastra Bank as soon as possible.
In the parliament meeting on Wednesday, Maoist MP Madhav Sapkota and RPP MP Roshan Karki had demanded an immediate investigation and action against the chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of Nepal. On Wednesday, a team of the CIAA raided the Securities and Exchange Board of Nepal and seized documents.
