Kathmandu. National Independent Party MP Manish Jha has warned that he will not remain silent if he does not see the political vendetta being carried out against the opposition. Addressing the House of Representatives meeting on Tuesday, MP Jha gave this warning.
He commented that the treatment meted out to party presidents Ravi Lamichhane and Resham Chaudhary and the incident of taking a statement from former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal are a series of planned political vendettas. MP Jha said that the party has drawn attention to the recent incidents of political vendetta and is looking into it seriously.
He said, “We would also like to state that the party has drawn attention to some of the recent incidents of political vendetta and that we are concerned.” It happened to our party president, recently it happened to Resham Chaudhary, we are hearing that Madhav Kumar Nepal’s statement is also being taken. Will there be an attack on Sike Raut now? We are looking at this as a political revenge. We are taking it seriously. And we want to say that it may not be possible to remain silent forever.’
He also objected to the fact that a public holiday was not given on the occasion of Janaki Jayanti.
