Kathmandu. Himalayan Reinsurance has declared dividend for the fiscal year 2080/81.
The company’s board of directors meeting held on Baisakh 22 decided to distribute a total dividend of 4.74 percent of the current paid-up capital of Rs 10.4 billion from the distributable profit of the fiscal year.
The said dividend includes bonus shares worth Rs 468 million at a rate of 4.50 percent and cash dividend worth Rs 246 million at a rate of 0.24 percent for tax purposes.
The proposed dividend will be approved by the upcoming annual general meeting after approval by the Nepal Insurance Authority. The company has stated that it will be distributed to shareholders.
