Kathmandu. Laminar Tiles, the country’s first and only 100% vitrified tile, has launched an exclusive flagship experience center in Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakash Man Singh officially inaugurated the center today (Monday) during a ceremony.
According to the company, the center is open to consumers who want to build or renovate a new house, construction workers, engineers and interior designers, as well as anyone interested in and concerned about tiles.
The center has been established in front of the Uttardhoka, Garidhara, with the aim of providing an opportunity to directly observe and experience all the collections being produced by the company, as well as the innovative technology of Nepali tiles, in one place.
Inaugurating the center, Minister Singh urged to increase the use of Nepali products and said, ‘I urge everyone to use laminar vitrified tiles in any type of physical structure—hotel, restaurant, building, hospital or individual home.’
Spread over 4,000 square feet to showcase more than 400 international-level designs categorized into seven collections, this center provides solutions for the following areas:
1) Interior walls and floors of homes and commercial buildings
2) High-traffic areas such as shopping malls, hotels, educational institutions, airports Areas
3) Wet and exposed areas such as roofs, balconies, pools, bathrooms
4) Exterior areas for cladding, facades, driveways and parking

Laminar tiles produced by Lumbini Ceramics Limited are manufactured at a state-of-the-art production center located on an area of 14 bighas in Gularia, Bardiya, which has a daily production capacity of more than 140,000 square feet.
