Bagmati. The Transport Management Office, Hetauda, Makawanpur has collected more than Rs 456.6 million in revenue during the nine months of the current fiscal year 2081-82.
The office collected Rs 456.6 million in revenue from new vehicle registrations, renewals and distribution of driver’s licenses from Shrawan to Chaitra of the current fiscal year 2081-82, informed the office’s head Praveen Shrestha.
According to the office head Shrestha, in the nine months of the current fiscal year, Rs 78.71 million was collected from the distribution of driver’s licenses, Rs 282.737 million from vehicle tax, Rs 71.576 million from the income of the transport sector, and Rs 31.491 million towards federalism. 953 and Rs. 8,250 revenue has been collected from Beruju.
Similarly, during the same period of the current fiscal year, 4,351 new vehicles, including 2,234 motorcycles, 847 small vehicles, 626 tempo/e-rickshaws, 624 large and medium vehicles, and 11 tractors, were issued, informed the office chief Shrestha.
During this period, 4,781 new and 2,161 additional driving licenses were issued to 5,359 people, Chief Shrestha informed.
Similarly, 4,781 renewals were issued during the same period, It has been stated that 76 copies and 63 renewals and copies have been issued. The office had collected Rs. 567.17 million in revenue under various heads in the previous fiscal year 2080/81 and registered 4,399 vehicles.
