Birgunj. Four people, including a minor, have been arrested on charges of kidnapping Sudhir Prasad Sah of Kalaiya Sub-metropolitan City-18.

Subash Bhatta, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Parsa, said that the kidnapped Sah was rescued from a house in Murali, Birgunj Metropolitan City-12 on Tuesday night and Rikesh Kumar and Rajan Gupta and Sikendra Sah of Sakhuwa Prasauni Rural Municipality were arrested for the kidnapping. The details of the minors in custody have not been made public.

The Parsa District Court on Wednesday granted permission to keep him in custody for five days for investigation on the crime of physical hostage-taking, said Bhatta.
