Lulang-Gurja road: Track opened in Bhalukhoriya section

Myagdi. Under the Lulang-Gurja road project, a 16-kilometer track has been constructed on the road connecting Dhawalagiri Rural Municipality-1 to Gurja. If an additional five kilometers of track is constructed, Gurja will be connected to the road network.

According to Jhak Bahadur Chhantyal, ward chairman of Dhawalagiri Rural Municipality-1 Gurja, a 16-kilometer track has been constructed from Lulang to Bhalukhoriya via Deurali-Latrawang. He informed that the federal, Gandaki Provincial Government and Dhawalagiri Rural Municipality have allocated a budget of Rs 20 million each for the Lulang-Gurja road, and a contract agreement has been signed for Rs 38 million.

In 2079-80, a four-kilometer, 400-meter road was constructed from Lamsung to Lulang with the investment of the rural municipality and the Gandaki Provincial Government.
