Kathmandu. MP Amresh Kumar Singh has said that there should be no delay in development work. During today’s special meeting of the House of Representatives, he demanded that the government construct the Narayangadh-Butwal road section on time.
‘The delay in road construction has caused difficulties for tourists visiting Lumbini,’ said MP Singh. Similarly, MP Prabhu Sah said that institutions and organizations that use government budget should be brought under the legal ambit. He objected to the fact that some organizations and institutions were used for party and personal interests.
MPs Dev Prasad Timilsina, Damodar Poudel and Javeda Khatun drew the government’s attention to immediately address the demands of the agitating teachers. MP Nagina Yadav alleged that the local administration is ignoring court orders, citing the demolition of local houses during the construction of drains in the Terai Madhes.
